Innovative Diabetes Technology: BGL monitoring and CGM
Diabetes technology has revolutionised the way people manage their condition, offering more accurate, efficient, and personalised solutions than ever before. Devices such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps have significantly improved the quality of life for those living with diabetes by enabling real-time monitoring and precise insulin delivery. These advancements help reduce the risk of complications, enhance blood sugar control, and provide valuable insights into daily patterns. Additionally, the integration of smartphone apps and cloud-based platforms ensures that users and healthcare professionals can access and share data seamlessly, fostering better decision-making. As diabetes technology continues to evolve, it is empowering individuals to take charge of their health with tools that are as innovative as they are effective.
We provide CGM trials through Dexcom Australia, offering the Dexcom One+ device. You may be eligible if you haven’t previously trialed this CGM device and meet Dexcom Australia's eligibility criteria. This applies to individuals with Type 2 Diabetes, including those in preconception, pregnancy planning, pregnancy, or gestational diabetes. Please note, eligibility criteria are subject to change as determined by Dexcom Australia.
At SHG, we collaborate closely with your endocrinologist to support your journey of living well with Type 1 Diabetes. In partnership with Decom Australia, we provide advanced Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) solutions tailored to meet your needs. Through this partnership, we assist you with NDSS registration and ensure you have access to the essential tools that empower you to manage your diabetes effectively. Our mission is to equip you with state-of-the-art diabetes technology that enhances glycemic control, increases your time in range, and delivers actionable insights through CGM data, nutrition tracking, and a physical activity log. With this personalized approach, you can make informed dose adjustments, achieve better glycemic stability, and reclaim control over your daily life. Say goodbye to reacting to insulin with food—embrace a data-driven, proactive approach to living your healthiest, most balanced life with Type 1 Diabetes.
For individuals newly diagnosed or recently registered with NDSS, we offer BGL machines. If a BGL monitor is not currently in stock, we’ll assist you in ordering the device and ensure it is delivered directly to your home address.
